Clonbinane Hall — Battery Storage Upgrade
Project type
Commercial
Date
24/09/25
Location
Clonbinane Hall
The community facility at Clonbinane Hall received a modern energy upgrade with the installation of a 16 kWh Sungrow battery system and replacement of the existing GoodWe inverter. This standalone battery addition required structured, code-compliant cable management across multiple system types: AC, DC, communication, and monitoring.
The OptiMount Tray system with divider accessory was used to neatly and safely route all cables in a shared pathway—minimising wall clutter while enhancing protection and compliance.
Cable Tray Highlights
The Solar MG OptiMount Tray enabled seamless management of:
✅ AC supply and Backup wiring from inverter to main switchboard
✅ DC battery connections with communication
✅ Communication cabling for inverter to Switchboard
✅ Divider Accessory used to segregate AC, DC, and data cables in the same tray
💡 Benefits of the OptiMount System
-Enhanced cable protection in outdoor conditions via fully enclosed tray with peaked lid
-Clear AC/DC separation maintained using tray divider — aligning with AS/NZS 5033 segregation rules
-ZAM coating ensures long-term corrosion resistance on external wall mounting
-Fast install: knockout zones and overlapping slots allowed flexible entry and secure mounting
